Coinbase partners with Kemet to expand institutional access to Coinbase derivatives markets

We’re partnering with Kemet, a crypto derivatives OEMS and PMS, to expand how institutional clients can access Coinbase trading venues by integrating Coinbase Exchange, Coinbase Derivatives Exchange, Coinbase International Exchange, and Deribit into Kemet’s platform. As part of this partnership, Coinbase Ventures is making a strategic investment in Kemet to support the partnership in the long-term, aligning with our goal of supporting advanced trading at scale.

Our goal is to make Coinbase the most trusted and comprehensive platform for trading. That means continuing to expand not just what clients can trade across spot, futures, and options, but how they execute sophisticated derivatives strategies across our markets. Kemet's platform supports advanced multi-leg options strategies, smart order routing, automatic delta hedging, and spread trading algorithms — capabilities institutional desks rely on to execute sophisticated derivatives strategies at scale. For institutional clients, that includes delivering the infrastructure they expect: seamless execution and access to deep liquidity across products and venues.

As an open, multi-broker platform, Kemet enables institutions trading across multiple venues to seamlessly access and route orders, ensuring they can easily connect to and prioritize Coinbase markets within their broader trading stack. By integrating Coinbase Exchange, Coinbase Derivatives Exchange, Coinbase International Exchange, and Deribit into Kemet’s platform, clients can route execution across spot, futures, and options through a single interface, accessing Coinbase liquidity through Kemet.
