Getting paid in crypto just got a lot more powerful with Coinbase Business
TL;DR: The Coinbase Business payments suite is getting a major upgrade. Your business can now seamlessly accept payments from AI agents using the same Checkout you already use. We’re also introducing reusable payment links, flexible pricing, a product catalog, integrated buyer information collection, and USDT support across the full payments suite.¹ These features reduce manual operations and streamline workflows across your Coinbase Business toolset.

Today, Coinbase Business is expanding its payments suite so businesses can get paid with more flexibility, by more customers, including AI agents.
Coinbase Business now serves more than 5,000 companies. And its payments acceptance suite — payment links, checkouts, and invoices — has already powered more than 100,000 payments across industries, from AI startups and auction houses to law firms and nonprofits. Funds settle instantly, fees stay low,² and chargebacks are off the table.³
Here's what's new.
Get paid by AI agents
A new kind of customer is here. AI agents are now transacting on the internet - buying digital services, shopping for their humans, or even operating completely autonomously. But most payment infrastructure wasn't built to accept them.
Coinbase Business is. The same checkouts you already use can now accept payments from AI agents via x402, an open standard for machine-to-machine payments. Funds settle instantly in USDC, land in your account, and are ready to earn rewards,⁴ or withdraw on demand.

Now accepting USDT
USDT (Tether), the largest stablecoin by market capitalization and overall trading volume, is now supported across the full Coinbase Business payments suite. Accept USDT payments through links, checkouts, and invoices, giving your customers one more way to pay.¹ Funds automatically convert and settle in USDC to your Coinbase Business account. No need to manage multiple currencies.
Reusable links
Most businesses create a new payment link for every single customer. At a small scale that's manageable. At any real volume, it breaks down fast.
Now you create one link and reuse it as many times as you need with Coinbase Business. Share it by email, text, or QR code. Cap it at a set number of payments, pause it, or turn it off whenever you want. One link does the work of hundreds.

Flexible pricing, your way
Let buyers choose what they pay, with guardrails you set. Set a minimum, a maximum, or leave it open. Whether you're collecting donations, tips, or billing for a service that varies by scope, pricing now works the way your business does.

One product catalog setup. Every payment type covered.
Retyping the same product details across payment links, checkouts, and invoices creates unnecessary work and room for error.
Add what you sell to a product catalog once and reuse each item across every payment type. No repeated setup. No extra steps.

No more chasing buyer details
Collect name, email, shipping address, and more alongside your payment. Everything you need to fulfill, ready when you need it.
