As the website suggests, the Calo app aims to make the world move by helping users to have healthier lifestyles. The app motivates users to burn more calories to earn rewards. Calo’s goal is to bring all imaginations to reality with a metaverse and Augmented Reality (AR), where the users’ workout time becomes an adventure.
Calo aims to utilize blockchain technology and focuses on the new value proposition of Burn to Earn, which makes the brand unique. The Calo Metaverse’s blockchain system records users’ training results and then converts the calories burned into rewards in the form of tokens and NFTs. Users can trade and swap them on the Calo Metaverse-created market, resulting in real income for participants.
The native token of the platform is the CALO token, which is a blockchain-based cryptocurrency with limited supply. CALO is the primary currency of the Calo app. The users can stake their tokens and participate in governance votes. Brands can also use CALO to generate challenges for their users who can receive rewards after completing a challenge. Additionally, users can participate in in-app challenges to earn bonus tokens.
The Calo ecosystem also includes one more token, FAT. The FAT token is an unlimited token. It is issued by sync in activities data into the Calo app. When users report an activity, it implies they have burned calories. The more FAT tokens users acquire, the more calories they burn.
Mr. Tuan Phan (CEO) and Mr. Minh Tri Nguyen (CTO) are the founders of the Calo app. The total supply of the CALO token is 500.000.000 CALO.
