Icy Money (ICY) is a reflective token on the Avalanche network that imposes a tax on all transactions and transfers of ICY. Reflection tokens are cryptocurrencies that reward holders using a mechanism in which transactions are taxed and a percentage of the tax collected is redistributed to token holders. ICY aims to make it easy for everyone to create passive income by providing users with a low-risk passive income method, a high return on funding paid in Ethereum (not ICY), and an ICY redemption method financed by the financial gains from investing in hyper bonds.
The token's purpose is to provide low-risk and simplified ways to build passive income with the help of Ethereum reflection. ICY traders incur tax benefits that are directly used to transfer to token holders and fund ICY hyper-bonding treasury.
With treasury-backed insurance, the platform provides an indicator that gives ICY owners confidence to hold their tokens rather than trade them. If the price of the ICY token ever crashes, the insurance fund will raise the percentage of the initial value of the holding for the token holder.
Hyper-bonding treasury funding is also one of the ways ICY uses technologies to automate complex, inconvenient, but highly profitable strategies and return these benefits to holders. The platform does so by providing additional liquidity. The platform believes that Ethereum reflection and hyper-bonding treasury repurchases provide unique and lasting to holders.
ICY's main advantage is that funding revenues are paid in the Ether (Ethereum's native token). Thanks to Ethereum's reflection, the token holders are cashed out from the initial funding. ICY's tokenomics reduces selling pressure on ICY holders who are less interested in making a profit. Tokenomics is the study of token’s economics.
The ICY Treasury is also an insurance fund that is airdropped to all ICY holders in case the ICY price falls in any way. Icy Money believes in providing insurance should this scenario occur. Users are enticed to withhold their tokens during significant declines in ICY prices.
