FAQ
Statera describes itself as an indexed deflationary ecosystem powered by smart contracts. Statera synergizes with a trustless and community-driven portfolio of market-leading cryptocurrencies. The company claims that every Statera trade generates arbitrage possibilities, resulting in increased volume across the whole Statera ecosystem and more outstanding fees paid to liquidity providers. (Liquidity providers are traders who stake their cryptocurrency tokens on DEXs to collect transaction fees.)
The whitepaper mentions that Statera seeks to make things as easy as possible for all holders to access digital assets. Statera aims to lower volatility and boost positive price pressure in digital asset holdings. Furthermore, the firm aims to lessen the entrance hurdle to more modern financial tools. Statera intends to counterbalance the world's inflation and asset depreciation.
Statera is a deflationary coin, with each transaction burning 1% of the coin's total value. Statera aims to offer an excellent counter-narrative to concerns of inflation and the threats inflation brings to stores of value. However, Statera can only witness a decrease in supply. The basket of digital assets entrusted with Statera may evolve with the ecosystem, assuring Statera's competitiveness. The Balancer and Uniswapprotocols are used to store the tokens that make up Statera's liquidity (or any similar protocol). The portfolios are used to provide liquidity for the protocol exchanges, and they automatically rebalance at a consistent pace to be evenly weighted (similar to an "index fund").
The native token of the platform is STA. Statera (STA) is a deflationary ERC20 token that can be used to boost the liquidity of any liquidity pool. The overall quantity of Statera is falling since the deflationary mechanism removes 1% of the STA involved in each transaction from circulation. STA is natively linked to the Fantom network, which means that the coin can only be minted while connected to Ethereum.
The Whitepaper V2 was published in February 2021. The total supply of STA is 79,528,594 coins. The maximum supply of STA is 101,000,000 coins.
