The platform also offers several NFT collectibles known as Crypto Prophets. Each NFT character has unique magical capabilities, spells, and magic items. The Crypto Prophecies is a decentralized application (DApp) built on Polygon's Layer 2 solution for the Ethereum blockchain. This gives the game scalability and speed at low cost while enabling a better experience for users. The TCP token is a fungible token using the ERC20 token standard. The Crypto Prophecies token powers the ecosystem and brings it value.
TCP is the native utility token that holders use for wagering or betting in all game modes. The token also provides users the ability to purchase NFT characters and items available on the TCP ecosystem. The Crypto Prophecies aims to become the mode of payment for all the transactions on the platform. Additionally, the token can be used by holders for accessing time-limited events. The token intends to enable a daily prize pool for rewards, platform governance, and voting. TCP is also used for providing prizes to the users in leaderboards.
The Crypto Prophecies was introduced by Paul Lindsell (CEO) and Philipe Comini (CDO) in April 2021. Paul Lindsell is a digital veteran with product design experience in FinTech, Gaming, and Blockchain. He has held many leadership roles including former founder and CEO of a digital design agency, as well as cofounder and COO of an algorithmic cryptocurrency trading platform.
