BitciCoin is the first digital asset of Turkey that has its own blockchain network combined with several ecosystem platforms. The platform supports secure and quick transaction services and is the mainnet (fully developed) coin of the BitciChain blockchain. BitciChain is a digital network that offers payment and stock exchange services merged with blockchain networks, allowing users to develop smart contracts and tokens.
As per its whitepaper, BitciCoin is a hub and common space to share crypto asset management systems, smart contracts, cryptocurrencies storage, and asset transfer services. The currency also offers real estate tokenization, fan tokens, blockchain network-related services, and products to its worldwide users. This asset aims to provide public and private sector operations on the BitciChain network in the future. Further, the platform uses proof of authority (PoA) protocol for its data security and safety. (PoA is an algorithm that offers a flexible blockchain consensus mechanism.) BitciCoin also represents the value of the BitciChain blockchain and combines services and products offered in the Bitci Ecosystem. Bitci Ecosystem is an umbrella of blockchain apps, including BitchiCHain, Bitci wallet, etc.
Bitci is the native token of BitciCoin. The allocation of Bitci tokens includes 10% to marketing, 5% to seed, 0.65% to advisors and team, 1% to its development, 0.35% to Surver, 4% to private sale, and 79% to token burning. (Cryptocurrency burning is when a fraction of tokens are sent to a wallet with no private key. This means the tokens are lost forever. Tokens are usually burnt to reduce availability and increase market value.)
BitciChain launched this platform in 2020 along with Bitci explorer, wallet, and exchange listing. The founding member of BitciCoin Çağdaş Çağlar is an experienced businessman and entrepreneur in end-user products, blockchain ecosystem, energy, and other sectors. Other members include Burak Çağdaş ÇAĞLAR (chairman), Onur Altan Tan (CEO), and Metehan Karadan (CFO). The maximum supply of this currency is 100,000,000,000 BITCI tokens.
