The currency runs on the Datamine Network, which is a decentralized finance (DeFi) system that uses smart contracts to generate cryptocurrency. Datamine is a two-token ecosystem, including DAM and FLUX. These tokens are interconnected; the ecosystem rewards users for providing liquidity by burning FLUX tokens. DAM is a base token of the Datamine ecosystem. The token is implemented on ERC-777 standards and deployed on Ethereum. On the other hand, FLUX is a supply token of the Datamine ecosystem and can be used for various purposes. As FLUX has a minting aspect, the ecosystem stays unaffected by the fixed supply aspect of DAM. Minting is the process of creating new blocks, verifying documents, and recording data in the blockchain.

Users can lock their DAM tokens or mint through this dashboard and burn their FLUX dividends. Burning is the process of getting rid of tokens from circulation to control the token's value.
