FAQ
Rabbit Finance (RABBIT) is a trading protocol based on the principles of lending and borrowing. The protocol is created on the Binance Smart Chain (BSC) to facilitate easy swapping of cryptocurrency across blockchains. Rabbit Finance seeks to focus on leveraging cryptocurrency to maximize returns. The protocol aims to support users eager to yield farm via over-lending and added leverage to generate better revenues. A user might have insufficient funds to practice liquidity farming in a decentralized finance (DeFi) space. Rabbit Finance aims to provide additional leverage or funds to the users to continue liquidity farming for higher revenues. Rabbit Finance also seeks to assist users with increased liquidity.
Powering the Rabbit ecosystem is the “Bank of Rabbit Finance”. The platform encourages users to participate either as a lender, farmer, or trader. The crypto currencies that are lent to the bank are made available to the farmers as leverage to win higher yields.
Rabbit Finance also features margin trading, which enables users to borrow funds from the “Bank of Rabbit Finance” to trade crypto assets. Users must provide the “Bank of Rabbit Finance” with collateral to cover the credit risks. Rabbit Finance allows users to trade Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Binance coins (BNB), and a few others. The organization seeks to support the trading of various other crypto assets in the future.
According to the gitbook of assets, RABBIT seeks to be an yield-bearing token of Rabbit Finance. Yield-bearing tokens are cryptocurrencies that accumulate and increase in value when users hold the tokens long-term. Rabbit Finance encourages users to continue staking the Rabbit tokens to maximize earnings and win token rewards. Users can also put the tokens in liquidity pools to seek better returns.
Rabbit Finance protocol features the RabbitDAO (decentralized autonomous organization). The governance platform envisions providing users the voting rights to contribute to the organization's development. The primary governance token of the platform is the Rabbit Share Coin (RS). RabbitDAO enables users to mint RS coins and add them to the reserved treasury of the platform. Users can stake the RS tokens to earn reserved assets and token rewards. Rabbit Finance plans to launch NFT-driven gameplay called “Rabbit vs. Zombies” and the token holders can utilize the RS coins to purchase the game characters.
Rabbit Finance Lab launched Rabbit Finance on January 6, 2022. The total supply of the token is 203,000,000 RABBIT.
