SpacePenguin (PNGN) is a charity cryptocurrency that aims to fight against global warming. Its objective is to make a difference in the lives of all endangered species suffering because of the climate changes caused by humans.
Its name inspired by penguins, creatures that live on the ice, SpacePenguin (PNGN) is a meme token. (A meme token is a token inspired by real-world jokes.) Climate change is a global issue now, and SpacePenguin aims to generate charitable contributions for organizations that work toward resolving global climate issues. Coolearth.org is a UK-based organization selected as the first beneficiary.
The team of SpacePenguin (PNGN) aims to launch the token on various exchanges so that the traders need not paygas fees.The team aims to create NFTs of animals, the funds from which they claim will be used as charity for Coolearth.org or other organizations involved with solving global warming for animals. All the transactions made with the PNGN token contribute 0.1% to a charity organization.
The PNGN is a yield-generating deflationary token, which means that the token's price is supply-and-demand dependent. If supply is less and demand is the same, token’s price increases, which adds up in the transaction and redistribution fee. A 3% burn fee and a 3% redistribution fee from every transaction get distributed to all PNGN token holders, yielding benefits as per the token quantity. (Cryptocurrency burning is when a fraction of tokens are sent to a wallet with no private key. This means, the tokens are lost forever. Tokens are usually burnt to reduce availability and increase market value.)
The initial supply of the token is 1,000,000,000,000,000 PNGN.
