ZeroSwap defines itself as a multi-chain, zero-fee, on-chain trading platform along with liquidity, DeFi, token offerings, mining, and DEX aggregation features. When a user makes an on-chain trade with liquidity to current DEXes, the protocol rewards them. Users aren't charged a gas fee along with a zero trading fee.
As the Litepaper suggests, ZeroSwap aims to focus onboarding market-makers and quants on utilizing price inconsistencies throughout stand-alone chains. ZeroSwap claims to build a framework for its audience to create an independent DeFi product with the help of their DEX suite. ZeroSwap claims to focus primarily on solving fragment liquidity issues (market makers going through numerous networks to access liquidity). ZeroSwap seeks to solve this problem by settling orders over several networks without moving assets across multiple chains. Moreover, the platform also claims to resolve expensive on-chain fees by providing gas-free transactions. Gas-free is a new feature introduced by the platform to help bring down the transaction fees to zero.
The native token of the ZeroSwap platform is ZEE, which is based on Ethereum (ERC20) and Binance Smart Chain (BEP20) blockchains. The users are rewarded with ZEE tokens when they use the ZeroSwap platform. Users who contribute liquidity to the DEXs that ZeroSwap aggregates are rewarded. The ZEE tokens are utilized to enable projects to launch tokens via DEX Token offerings on the platform. Hence, this allows ZEE holders to take part in initial offerings. Additionally, the ZEE tokens can be used for exchange transactions.
ZeroSwap was founded in 2020. The cofounder of the platform ZeroSwap is Vivek Kumar and CTO is Puneet Bagewadi. Aayushi Jain is a cofounder and the chief of operations at ZeroSwap.
