SmarDex operates by introducing a new technology that manages liquidity differently, using a concept known as Fictive Reserve (FR). This technology strives to address the significant challenge of Impermanent Loss (IL) that arises when users provide tokens to a liquidity pool, and the price of those tokens changes. Previous attempts to solve IL have been unsuccessful, but SmarDex's protocol intends to be the first to effectively address this issue. The platform also aims to lower fees from the traditional 0.3% seen in other DEXs to 0.07% for SmarDex, with 0.05% for liquidity providers (LPs), and 0.02% for an SDEX staking pool.
